Unfortunately now in days these things can't be taken as a joke. Some schools shootings could have been prevented if people had taken their comments on social networks seriously. Police have no choice but to take these things seriously because it could potentially prevent a tragedy.I think there are certain things that aren't part of our freedom of speech. Just like yelling Bomb isn't appropriate when in an airplane, I think what he joked about wasn't appropriate either. I don't know what other tweets have gotten people in trouble but imagine what people would have thought about the police if the airport bombing really happened.
