How to unblock someone on instagram, who also has you blocked?

same thing happened here, the way i was able to fix it was by going to an old photo (with my friend tagged in the photo/comments) then you press on their username and itll take you to their profile and then you unblock them there. and if you have no pictures with them i dont know how to do it Sad
