How much would you pay or think this double knit babys crocheted blanket is worth?

That's a really attractive baby afghan! My compliments to your grandmother.

I have made afghans similar to that one; different color scheme, of course. Personally, I wouldn't sell one for less than £30. However, whether or not someone would pay that amount will depend on the fiber that's used and finding the right place to offer the blankets for sale.

Folksy is the online "shop" that would have similar items. You might want to look there to see what prices are being asked for afghans that are a similar size and fiber. Selling through Folksy would permit keeping more of the sales price than selling through a shop or on consignment, where the shop owner will take 40% to 60% of the sales price. And it's more convenient than selling through craft fairs.

I hesitate to mention street markets, because often the patrons there are looking for bargains, not for art objects (and your grandmother's afghan is definitely an art piece). However, if you have access to a street market that emphasizes art of all sorts (jewelry, clothing, decorative pieces, and so on) and provides a selling outlet for artists, you might look into the cost and rules for joining and give it a go.

In London, she will have access to a number of excellent yarn shops. In the rural areas, I've found some really nice "local" yarn spun from the fleece of "local" sheep. You might be able to find a marketing niche for her work by connecting the dots between local yarn producers, your grandmother's work, and either the tourist trade or the upscale local purchasers who will happily pay for high-quality unique work.
