Thanks for answering my question, I'll return the favor. I am quite shy with guys and I like to be pursued and not to give much away at first. In spite of this, in a situation like this where the guy approaches and we talk, he asks for my number and shows interest I would have called him back, especially if he came back the second time to give again his number. As a girl, maybe I wouldn't call to see if the guy is really interested and came back to see me. But after you came back the second time and you came early just to see her, and wrote a note, well, that's quite impressive to me, and makes me want to give this guy a chance, if I like him a little. If a guy was a stranger that left a note with number and was gone I wouldn't call him, but in this case you talked to her, you were friendly and polite, and you came back for her the second time and left again your number. I guess this is what a girl like me would really expect from a guy, a guy that shows interest and is able to approach and pursue a girl. I don't know if she really lost your number the first time. I wouldn't have lost the number of a guy I like, but it can happen. There could be other reasons, but it doesn't look like she is that interested after the second time. You may talk to her and ask her if there is any reason she didn't call you back, and ask her to go out with you and say that you are interested in getting to know her, and see what she says and does.
