The new look Facebook is great anyway, it's a major improvement, you have 7 days to get it right in regards to what you like/don't like showing, upload your cover at the top, the lot.

Changes are usually horrendous but on this occasion it's a massive improvement, get used to it, find out some of the new feature's, I'm pretty sure you'll love it once you allow yourself to explore it.
