IMHO, if all you're giving them is your name and address, you should be ok. If they require an email address (which they probably will), you'll no doubt get spam because of it. But again, if name, address and email is all they want, you should be "safe."
Ads such as these are why I have a "throwaway" email account. I do nothing with it other than allow it to receive spam. The reason I use a valid email address is because sometimes the ad wants me to click on a link in an email they send me to "authorize" the request I'm submitting. If I had given a totally bogus email address, I couldn't do this. |
