Going on First date tips?

I'm going on a first date tonight with a guy I met online. I found him on Facebook and he seems to be who he says he is, and in texting he's really sweet and is not being creepy. I suggested a public place to meet up (movies and dinner) and he was totally fine with it which seems like a good sign.

I'm bringing a few of my friends for the initial meetup just to be safe, and then as long as everything is good they'll go off and do their own thing.

So, tips for the date? i'm thinking of wearing an open cardigan with a cami underneath. Also, I'm pretty sure he'll pay for dinner since he asked me out and when guys do that they tend to pay, but should I still go for my wallet when the bill comes? I don't want to seem like I just assumed he would pay.

Should I let him kiss me if he wants to?

Any other tips/suggestions?
I do want to be alone with him, but I'm bringing friends just in case he's not who he says he is. It's being safe.
