Sounds like he's just not interested. Facebook chatting is for "Friends" so you have probably fallen into that category. Best advice is to wait for him to contact you, you seem to have made an effort ..just make sure he knows you enjoyed the date and would like to see him again....if after 7 days he's not chasing you or indicating an interest (Let him initiate contact) then just move on. It takes two to Tango........
