Employers look at facebook profile?

If you're privacy settings are in place and you don't add potential employers as friends, they cannot see your facebook. The problem comes when people are stupid enough to allow employers access.

However, there is always other information about yourself that's available online. A recent CNN article stated that 45% of employers now use the internet to research potential employees either right before or right after a job interview. Doing a search for yourself in various search engines is one way to make sure that employers aren't getting information that you don't want them to see.

But the bottom line is that employers can't get into your Facebook profile if you don't let them.
