My close friends never like my profile picture?

Ok this might seem a bit sad but whenever I change my facebook profile photo my close friends, i.e. those i share a flat with, never like it. It's always my old friends from high school etc. Is this normal? I find it a bit weird...I never fail to like their pictures. Friends are supposed to support one another but I often feel like they only act normal around me when i'm not wearing makeup/ look a mess.
Well they like everyone's photo's...

lol maybe but they're supposed to be my close friends, are you telling me you wouldn't be offended. I don't care what randomers think about me, but I care their opinions.
