Should I cut off this friendship?
I had a best friend of 4 years. We did everything together, and she told me we were like sisters. As soon as we graduated college, she left to go to graduate school, while I had a full time job. It was very tough as I moved to a new city, knowing no new people except my ex boyfriend. I used to vent to her about everything but i could sense that she was pulling away. I tried confronting her twice about this and she insulted me both times - called me rude, immature. My mom and her mother were friends as well. My mother confronted her mother about this and she called me, telling me to make my mother apologize. So my mother did. She made new friends at school - one of which even wrote "you are like a sister to me" on her Facebook wall. She refuses to like anything on my facebook or acknowledge my presence. She doesn't call me or text even. She just jumped to new friends - she didn't even call me on my birthday.

I'm assuming it's time to move on with this friendship, but I hate the fact that I have to struggle while she is up and about having fun with her new friends. I am working full time with no social contacts in a new city. I actually considered her like a sister to me and now I feel like a fool.

Any advice for moving on? Should I cut it off?

Thanks
