Your mom may be sending pictures of herself to your dad; even though they live together it's not weird, its one of those things that spices up relationships when you get older and more committed. As for the "sweetheart" in messages, that's not really all too weird, some women just use stuff like that because they think its nice to address everyone that way. The protectiveness over his stuff isn't weird either, he's got three children, he probably just wants some privacy for himself. Unless you have more tangible proof, don't proceed. Tangible proof is things like full on conversations involving sexting-type language and nudes with the face in his text messages. Nudes in general is just porn otherwise. Be careful, and don't be quick to jump to conclusions.
