I had this problem just recently with my twitter app.

On the main screen click on the BB button, go to "show all" and choose it.

When you find the facebook app, click on it, then simply click the BB button again and choose "show".

This should solve the problem.

If not, you can use the BB desktop tools to turn the app on.
