Are teachers allowed to search my bag and take property from me?

That depends on the school. Private schools can do most anything. Public schools have more restrictions.
I once saw a child take a toy from the classroom and put it in her backpack to take home. I took it back out and was told I shouldn't have done it. I know teachers who have a "phone box" by the desk and the kids
put their phones in and take them when they leave. If they refuse to take it out of the bag, then the teachers make them put the bags by the desk. IF you kids would just stop playing with those phones all the time you wouldn't need to ask these questions.
