I like this girl but I'm not her type.?

I like this girl in my school, but i have no contact with her. We have no classes together. I'm friends with her on Facebook, but we don't message. We see each other in the hallway sometimes and we both make brief eye contact. I'm more of the quiet geeky type who only talks to my friends. Don't get me wrong, I'm a great socializer; everyone thinks I'm funny, but she's more of the popular type of girls who hang around all the douchebag kids (not saying she's a douche). She looks at me at lunch sometimes, and don't know what to do. get really nervous when it comes to romance; I've never had a girlfriend, or kiss. i need help.
