It sounds like you are receiving is called "Second sign-in verification," and it is designed to protect your account from unauthorized access. You can clear the prompt by having a verification code sent to your non-Yahoo! alternate email address or mobile number on file. If you don't have either of these options, you can contact the Account Security team by filling out the following Help form:

Accounts as the product, suspicious activity as the category, and received security warning prompt as the subcategory.
