Did a Facebook friend block me?

I go to search the person's name in the search bar and their name shows up. I click on it, and the page that pops up is, "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed." So I went to the recent chat history, and clicked on the person's name to open the chat window, their name comes up, but it says that I am not able to reply to the conversation. I refresh the page, and then person's name becomes "Facebook User". Then I proceeded to make a fake account, and sure enough I was able to access the person's page, as well as send them a friend request if I desired to do so. I think that they blocked me, but I just wanted a second opinion.
