To get more followers, you need to make your profile public and you need to wait until they follow you, because to get people follow you is automatic and you cannot do them manually, means that as a result, it is private issue for other people to follow you. this is because it is their private choice so they can choose what they like, so that is not everyone's choice.

If you want them to follow you, you need to tell them to follow you.
