I wouldn't go to petfinder if you want a well-bred animal. Shelters will give you something that is healthy, but not necessarily quality. I don't even live in the United States but I found a local Reptile Society for you. These are great, because everybody knows everybody, and can tell you who the top-notch breeders are in/around your area (and who to avoid).
