Facebook.
I've had a profile on both at one point. Myspace is more of a child's thing now, as majority of the users lately are about 13-14. Facebook has better privacy, because you can edit your profile so that only people who you are friends with or in your network (high school, general city area) can view your profile. When someone sends you a friend request, they ask you how you know the person, which further protects you from fake profiles and perverts, etc. Facebook is more of a community thing too. Its built just for people to communicate with their friends, and meet people in the area around them. Unlike Myspace, there aren't adds everywhere either, or constant viruses. The only downside to Facebook is that its difficult to have music on your profile, but I think there is some way to do that, or at least there probably will be soon. |
