Why are so many people not accepting my friend requests on Facebook? Am I not attractive?

I created a dummy Facebook account using the pictures of an attractive girl whose pictures are public. Almost everyone has accepted her friend requests even though they don't personally know her. The dummy account looks real and legitimate and the profile picture is a photo of the girl wearing a bikini. However, I had also friend requested many of the same people with my legitimate Facebook account and they either ignored or failed to respond to my requests. Many of these were people whom I know indirectly or directly. I'm 16 and my parents prohibit me from wearing makeup and provocative clothes. They also don't let me pluck my eyebrows. I'm not very attractive, but I'm kind, empathetic, and generous. Do you think your physical attractiveness is the most important factor when friend requesting people on Facebook?
