What is wrong with mixed markets?

What is wrong with mixed markets, and what is wrong with capitalism in general. When I said what is wrong with mixed markets, I mean those incorporated today in Western European Economies. Also what is the american economy system classed as (is it mixed economies/or a form more toward classical capitalism)?
I think I know most of the theory why they don't work or do work, but would like outside opinion. So take it as I understand so no need to explain in too much depth, I just want to hear your opinion, mainly of what is wrong in today's system. By use of the word wrong I mean, wrong or flawed.

It would be a lot better if you could post your answer with the following: the market you live in, your social class as defined by Marxism and your preference on economic system if it's capitalist, communist or other. If other please state.
