No, I don't think you can, but you should just make an account, all you need is an e-mail. It tells you how you can make one here:

Most apps are free (the Facebook one is free) so if you get an iTunes account, you can download it off iTunes and it won't cost you anything. If you don't have an iTunes account and you have an iPod Touch you are really missing out. There are great games and apps there just waiting to be downloaded.
