Depends if you want the latest features apple has to offer. If I was you, I think instead of either, I would go with 4s, It has everything you need plus is going out cheap now with the new Iphone release, I believe you can do everything you need to, plus the phone is there when you need it.

but if it's out of your price range, I would choose Ipod Touch 64 gig, enough room for everything, only con is there is no phone but you can buy a cheap one.
