Well it will probably burn some calories because its quite intensive but I would estimate about 80 calories max. I know this because I do high speed intervals on the treadmill for like 2 1/2 minutes and I burn about 45-50 calories and most people could not do my intervals.
So if you did that say 5 days a week you would burn about 400-500 calories. But one 40 minute run could do the same. You dont need a low calorie diet. Get this into your head. You have to only CUT OUT ALL FATS and junk food from your diet. Got that ? Eat fat get fat. Eat lean get lean.
