A few suggestions:

1) If you have a Facebook, or, Twitter, or any other social media account...find a way to write in BIG LETTERS for everyone to see that you and he broke up a long time ago, you can't stand him, maybe insult him as much as you possibly can...and then explain the beat-off is trying to sabotage any relationships you have because of his "If I can't have her...NO ONE will." mentality.

2) Talk to the police and see if there isn't something that can be done. If I were you...I'd search my memory for any information I might be able to give them about him (secrets, divulged info, etc.) which might persuade them it's worth their while to help you get rid of the guy once and for all.

3) As per #1...obsessed men like your ex-boyfriend are not uncommon. Every year you'll read about girls/women who have been brutalized, raped, even murdered by these menacing half-wits with a:
"If I can't have YOU...NO ONE will.!!!" mentality.

The ball is in your court....do you want to put him in his place...or not?!
