I don't want to graduate high school?

I felt the same way too when I graduated. High school was my shelter and all of my friends were there. Thing is though, whether you like it or not, you are going to be graduating. Although college is very similar to high school, you will still have to adjust. You just need to allow yourself time to accept the change. There really isn't anything to be frightened about. There is a lot more responsibility that comes with graduating from high school and stepping into the world, but that doesn't mean that you have to change yourself. You can still be a "kid" in a sense. It's okay to let your "inner-child" out every now and then when you are hanging with your friends or whenever. I still do that with my friends. College is better than you think. It is basically just like meeting people in high school. You smile, say hello, and introduce yourself, and make small talk with someone you think you can be friends with. Study groups for a class would probably help you too because you will spend time with those people. As for all of your high school classmates, friend them on Facebook or make sure you have their cell phone numbers, etc. Make sure you stay in touch. Make plans with those people often. Things might change between you and your classmates, but if they are true friends, it will be like nothing ever happened. The real answer to your entire question is that you need time to accept this huge change. I still wish I can go back to my high school days every now and then, but I recognize that I have a life outside if that now. Hope I was able to help some Smile
