Should I stop talking to my 'friends'?

"Surround yourself with those who uplift you, who call forth your best." -Epictetus.

What that means is: if the people you hang out with aren't positive, productive people that make you a better person, then they aren't worth your time. You need to do what makes you happy. Leaving those "friends" seems like a fast track to happiness. In life, your needs come first. If peoples friendship don't improve you then you are better then that friendship!

If you really want to "delete" these people from your life here are some tips

1) if you are following any of them on social media, stop!!!
2) distance yourself
3) ensure them (ex: no, nothing is wrong! I'm just taking a break for a little bit)
4) be polite but non-submissive!
5) be determined!

You deserve the best in life! Not people who will not invite you or abandon you at every turn! They have already begun the process of this separation, all you have to do is finish it!
