WHY ARE YOU YELLING?
Marketing & Management are two different disciplines in business administration. Management prepares you how to run a business or a company, so it encompasses a little bit of everything like statistics, finances, economics, marketing, sales, human resources, etc. Usually management classes use a lot of case studies about other companies, and professors or teachers want you to come up with a solution to a certain business problem. You can also expect a lot of strategy stuff, like writing a business plan or doing a SWOT analysis of a company or industry. Marketing is also a part of business that is usually a combination of communications and sales. Once a company manufactures a product, it's up to marketing people to tell people about the product and create a desire for it. Marketers also do a lot of market research to figure out who will want to buy the product and collect feedback from clients. Marketing can take many forms, like advertising, PR communications, social media marketing, etc. In class you will learn sales, market research, promotions and sales, business law. Usually classes like that test your creativity and instructors love to give group projects with big presentations. Ads |
