I spent two years in college living with first 3 girls I didn't really know and then again three new girls I didn't know the next year. I did not really socialize with them at all and I lived with them for two full semesters. It is possible if you don't really care to talk to the person. I only made friends with one girl and talked to the other one a little bit but I didn't really like her as a person. I barely even knew some of the other girls by the time I had to move out.
