That's the whole thing: it is out-of-control across the entire world, and "what the kids are doing" is actually the opposite of what you think.

It's the older generations that worry more about Privacy for two reasons:
They've seen more of the world and it's various forms of tyrants & tactics, and thieves that strip populations of their control over personal lives;
Those 'younger' generations have had Internet and government in their lives so long, they don't see it as anything to be worried about.
