Will the invasive-advertisement bubble ever burst?

So long as the everything online is free bubble does not burst, the advertisement bubble will not burst. Both are closely connected atleast for all the major businesses who will offer something free e.g. email, social media channel, software, apps, etc. and then use the user information available in bulk to give businesses an interface to advertise. This brings in the revenue to sustain and profit.

Non free offers, even if better in quality are as yet unable to scale successfully as often as the free model to have a sustainable business. At some level, a balance will be achieved between the 2 models where advertising is less but for that the free model also has to come down and get replaced by better quality paid products.
