I'm 15 and i have but i'm a smart 15 year old and you need to think about a few things, firstly if you do let her have it she will get a 100+ friends on it and when the friends list reaches 100+ it will become very hard to prize her off it and thus this may lead to reluctance over things such as homework, chors ect which is undesirable so if you do let her you will need to give her clear boundries as to what you want from her. for example i would advice that you say she can have it on the understanding she doesn't add anyone she doesn't know, she always completes homework, tasks, chors and whatever else you want to add.

i don't want to patronize you here as this is your child but just because her friends have it that doesn't mean she should get it, my friends smoke weed that doesn't mean i should. additionally you need to think about what kind of kid your daughter is for example her life style (stereotypical but i would), for example if she's a chav' you may find her attitude diminishes a little but i can't say as i don't know her only you can determine wether she's grown up enough for a social networking site. does she get good grades at school, can she afford to waste time on facebook?

if i'm honest you should decide whether your daughter has it, not some randomers on Y/A, the actual answer is no as if you put any age into the FB account creator that.s younger than 13 it will not let you make an account so if you do decide to make her an account then make sure you put her age as 1997 (no earlier than 96) or it wont let her make an account just so you know.
