I have been blocked from sending facebook friend requests...why?

Yes this has happened to me at least twice, and maybe that is because the people you sent requests to forgot you , or did not know you, so when they got to choose "Accept" or "Ignore" , they Ignored and then Facebook asks them "Do you know this person from outside of facebook" if they chose No, Facebook would have assumed that you were stalking people.
