I'm trying to build my very first PC.?
I decided that I wanted to build my very first PC. The only problem is that I pretty much don't know what I'm doing.I'm trying to take it slow here because I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for something that doesn't work. I have components in mind, but like I said I'm just starting.
Chassis: RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WBP Black Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Graphics Card: PNY VCGGTX7704XPB-OC2 GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit DVD Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner Hard Drive: Seagate NAS HDD ST2000VN000 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) I got this all from newegg.com and the price is $1,160. I wan't to know if everything is compatible with each other or if it's a very noobish build. I'd be happy to hear any suggestions on a better and more efficient build. I'd even be more impressed if it was a pretty decent build that's under $1,000. Also anything that I missed out? Not like the obvious like the monitor and keyboard, Lol Sorry, I had a motherboard in mind, but forgot to list it. Motherboard: ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Also the power supply comes with the Chassis. 500W. I also got wanted to get 16 because I'm hearing some games already need 8 GBs to run efficiently. Like this years Far Cry 3. Ads |
