I'm addicted to instagram?

I'm a 17 year old girl and I feel that websites such as instagram have stared to dictate my life. I only made one last year, but I've become so addicted to going on it and I don't think its good for me. Even my boyfriebd gets annoyed. I get super super happy if my selfies get likes or something, and if someone unfollows me, I get sad...I have no clue why! I know this is a problem now. It makes me feel so pathetic. I've been told I'm pretty billions of times but I'm so so sensitive any type of critisism. I'll even twist someone around and make it bad, even if it wasnt. I deal with anxiety and I know this can have something to do with it..but how do I stop feeling this way? It sounds rediculous that I'm letting my self worth go into a social media site..also, when I see pictures of other people super happy, I get jealous.
