Youtube is the best way. But you can also be "Internet Famous" using Tumblr or Instagram. For Tumblr or Instagram you have to post things that most people would like to see. Be original and creative, and post things of your own. Eventually your blog may become famous and you'll gain plenty of followers. It doesn't happen over night though.

As for Youtube, you can post videos of your own talents, via (singing, dancing, ranting, painting, etc). It doesn't matter what, everyone has talent, and you shouldn't be shy about it. Just be yourself! That's what people want to see. Good luck!
