Every group of men - not even friends, even just sports teams, work colleagues, guys at uni - I've ever been part of that regularly meet up have at least _a_ discussion about women, who's got the gift of the gab, and who's been able to talk their way into xyz many ladies'... boudoirs!

I agree with you that 'hero' is an exaggeration, but you can't deny that there's a certain... status as a ladies man that other men admire.
