Hello!

Thank you for the opportunity to answer your question.

In your current situation, if you'd like to fully reload the computer back to factory settings, most HP computers have a very simple way to do so. As mentioned above by Mehmet, I would suggest going to HP's website to download some of the critical drivers just in case the reload goes wrong. You can obtain any and all drivers for your specific model located here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...ct=5214937

I would recommend that you download the Wireless and LAN drivers and put them onto a USB Flash Drive or other external media. This way, if the drivers do go missing or become corrupt, you can reinstall the network drivers and then continue downloading all drivers needed from the web link provided above.

Once you have the drivers and any data that you may need backed up, here's a way you can reload the OS back to factory settings. It should be like the first time you turned the unit on.

1. Make sure that the unit is powered off.
2. Turn the unit on. Once you see the HP logo, usually a few seconds after turning the unit on, then press F11 on your keyboard.
3. The unit should now be trying to boot to the Recovery Partition.
4. Once the Recovery loads, you may have to select an option. This can vary from unit to unit but usually the wording is the same. Try to find "Factory Reset", "System Recovery", or anything that says "Recovery" or "Reset".
5. Follow the rest of the on screen instructions to get it to start reloading your Operating System.

It might take anywhere from 1-4 hours so when you do start this process, make sure that you have enough time to let it finish as once you start it, you can't stop the process.

If you have any questions or problems, please let me know.

Hope that helps!
