You need to free up lots and lots of room on your C drive. You run into numerous weird problems when there is not enough room for the OS to do swapping and paging. Start moving and deleting massive amounts of files. You need at least 5 GB free space for most models, more if you have large HDDs (500GB+). I always try to keep 100GB free on all my drives which keeps them happy.
