1. I also did not watch the MTV awards, but I knew what Kanye West did by the next morning. I am sure that he knew about it as well. All you had to do is wake up.
2. Human interest. Obama is a likable person. The polls state that very thing - people don't always agree with his policies, but they think he is a likable person. And that draws readers/viewers. 3. The news is all sorts of things - different people like different things in their news. My husband doesn't like to watch the news because it is all "doom and gloom". So I guess he is not seeing what you do. You want the issues, you need to find your source. I find that C-Span is very informative - no commentary, no commercials, and no opinion - it is all government all the time. You have to look for it, but if you watch popular news outlets, you are going to get news for everyone. |
