how could Mark Zuckerberg be richer with his facebook when yahoo got more advertisements (I supposed) than it?

Facebook is popular enough that nobody has to really search for it anymore, so no Yahoo and other search engines are NOT at the front lines.

After that its the simple fact that 1. Facebook is more popular and therefore can charge more per ad and 2. Facebook has a smaller infrastructure than Yahoo, making it a lot cheaper to operate.
