So I went on a date with this girl about a year ago. I took this gorgeous girl out to dinner and a movie. I thought I messed up the date, and I never thought she considered it a date as she ran off at the end of the date when I dropped her off. I got too nervous to talk to her as I thought the date went bad. Fast forward a year later I had seen her a couple of times, she also sent me a text saying "muah baby". To my dismay this was meant for her boyfriend which she apologized to me (that text hit below the belt buckle lol). This was in October. So on New Years eve that night I had a dream about her. I decided I just had to get some stuff off my chest. I had gotten a chain mail text saying three things to say to someone to leave 2013 without regrets. I told her," 1 she is drop dead gorgeous, 2 she is one the sweetest girls I have ever met 3 I will never forget when she helped me with my mom's campaign and that it meant the world to me. "
I don't hear anything for two days, and I get a response. She says, "Awe that is so sweet, so for you: 1 Our date was one of the best dates I have ever been on. I remember it like yesterday. 2 Thank You see things in me I don't see in myself and still don't. 3 You're an outstanding gentlemen, you care and you make a difference in everything you advocate for. "
Needless to say, I was so happy when I got that text. So I decided to just go for it. I asked her if she was busy next week and that we should do something. Three days later she said "I would like too. Sorry it takes me so long to reply." I then told her "If you're free on Saturday we should get dinner." That same day I get a response saying, "Can we do maybe a late lunch? I might not be able to make dinner. " (I spaced out my texts to a day, so I wouldn't look desperate..
I like this girl a lot. I usually am not bad with this stuff, but with her I seize up. I get really nervous. It says on facebook she is single, but I don't know if she is single or not. I don't know if she likes me or not. I have a big fear of being put in the friend zone with this girl. What do you guys think? Should I go to lunch with her? Is that her telling me she wants to just be friends? Regardless, girls usually don't make me think this much. Ps We are in college
