Why did Cracker Barrel ban Duck Dynasty and then flip flop and start selling it again?

Merely two days after announcing the removal of all Duck Dynasty products, Cracker Barrel has announced that it is reinstating the products from the hit TV show.

Phil Robertson, the family patriarch of the A&E show, recently made a statement condemning homosexuality. While many found Robertson’s comments to be mild and within his rights, the cable network suspended him. Cracker Barrel, which carries merchandise from the show, followed suit and removed Duck Dynasty products from shelves last week.

An uproar towards A&E and Cracker Barrel’s decision has penetrated social media networks, and Cracker Barrel decided to reverse the decision Sunday afternoon.

The question now remains – will A&E reverse their decision? And more importantly, will the Robertson family return to the network after such poor treatment?
