Major in Marketing or Finance?

I know that the job market now is very rough and i do not want to choose a major that i will end up regretting. Which Major would help me get a good paying job right out of college that wont make me miserable. When i think of Finance i always thought that it would be the right choice, however i do not want to be crunching numbers in my head all day long.(That is just my idea of it i may be wrong). Marketing on the other hand seems to be more social and hands on, however anyone i ask about marketing say that it is not worth it, and that i should go to fiance.(I prefer to be in a job which is more social instead of just sitting behind a desk all day.)
