Dear first of all I apologize to you for my English, i'm not American, were i come from we said to count to ten when you are angry, because things can become irreversible, a advice I can give you is to not give up but to continue to woo her. Send him text messages, flowers, invite her to dinner and tell him that you regret, give her a present like a ring, woo her like the first time .... make her the serenades under her balcony .... in other words.
