What do I do in this situation?
So I saw an ad on Facebook a few days ago for Disney Channel and modeling auditions. Acting's always been a dream of mind and of course Disney Channel would really be a good first step to take in my acting career so I signed up. Mind you, I live in Canada and this audition is held in New York (which is only about a half hour away by flight). They sent me an email two days ago but I just scanned it before exiting out. I didn't take it seriously and decided to skip this big opportunity, thinking my parents wouldn't allow it. But now they called asking if they need to book seats for my audition for TOMORROW at 7:30 PM. I feel stupid for having not paid that much attention to it, I didn't take it all that seriously until they literally called my house. I could ask my dad if he can take me but one, I'm not sure if he's home and two, I turned 16 last month meaning I can no longer use my birth certificate to travel and I must have a passport which I do not own. How do I go about this?! Am I screwed, especially because I don't have a passport? If I'm able to pass with another hundred dollars in cost then I can do it, my dad has a lot of money (not trying to brag whatsoever).
