You can also block the people you don't want to know about your facebook, if you do that they won't be able to find or see you at all, but other people will be able to ind and see you.

To make it so that no one can see you, you can only see them. You have to go to your settings and set all of your privacy settings to friends only.

To block people, you simply have to go to there profiles, then find and hit the block button.

It appears that, you can also block people by going to the privacy settings, and clicking on the block list, and typing the names of those you wish to block in there.
