Direct Answer: No differences in terms of its purpose to allow people to social network over the web, but the differences are in who uses them (aka, the age group of the users).
All 3 are a popular social networking website offering an interactive, user-submitted network of friends, personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music and videos. The service is free and only requires the user to register on the respective website. All 3 are riddled with advertisements since the income source derives from advertisers. MySpace is mostly popular in the United States, Canada and Europe; and tends to attract teenagers. Bebo is mostly popular in the US, UK, Ireland, NZ and the Pacific Islands and well, is mostly for people in the countries listed above other than the US. Facebook is moslty popular in the US and Canada; and typically attracts working professional adults. Which is better depends on your age group and which age group your friends belong to. Bottom line is that they're all useful but there's so many choices out there just like the "Instant Messaging" services. |
