you will get notifications if you have left comments in a post of theirs in the past

you have to unfollow the post to stop the notifications

and you might want to recheck your close friends list, as i have deleted people from my close friends list in the past, and the change didnt take at first, but after i did it again recently, it worked

so recheck your close friends list

reporting it to facebook wont help your problem
